Yes, I can travel to you for your makeup appointment at a chosen venue, a hotel or your home.  However, travel charges may be added.  These will be discussed during the quotation process.  For wedding consultations, these can take place either over the phone, video call or in a café.

At peak times I get booked up extremely quickly. I would recommend that you book as early as possible to secure the date of your choice and to avoid disappointment.

While it is always advisable to book a trial prior to the wedding day, it is entirely at your discretion.  Please note, a trial is not included as part of the bridal package and it is charged separately.  This fee is non-refundable.

Most brides book a trial around 3 to 6 months before the wedding day. I would recommend this to be as soon as possible after confirming my availability for your event.

Every client is different, below is an estimation of the time required:

- Trial– up to 3 hours
- Bridal Makeup – up to 2.3 hours
- Non-Bridal Makeup – up to 1 hours

On your trial day, it’s best to not wear any makeup, as this will allow me to accurately assess your skin and foundation colour. I will go through any skin care routines with you in preparation for the big day.  If you have any idea(s) of what you would like; it will be useful if you can provide some pictures you have seen. Please don’t worry if you are unsure what to go for, I can go through some ideas with you! 

It will help if you have a photo of your dress and colour of your wedding theme, so I can see what style you are going for. Also, it will be a good idea if you can wear a top with a close approximation to your dress colour, so we can build a better picture of how the makeup will look with your outfit.  The final look will be photographed and documented. The products used are noted to ensure the chosen look is replicated perfectly on the big day.

On your wedding day, please do not have any makeup on, just cleansed skin and sit back and relax, feel pampered and enjoy your big day.

Yes, I do simple hair styling.  If you have more complex requirements, I would recommend you book a separate hair stylist.  However, we can discuss this on an initial consultation.

I am a huge fan of false lashes and how much of a wonderful effect perfect eyelash application adds to the overall look.  They are included in the price of our makeup services, however there is no reduction in price for any makeup service if they are declined.

Absolutely. The makeup application will last the full duration of your event. Not only are the eyes and skin prepared with the proper skin care and priming products; you will be set and finished with professional powders and sprays that seal in and help fix the makeup in place.

On the morning of your wedding day I will arrive promptly at the time and place agreed. You will also need to be ready for me to start on you.  After setting up, ideally somewhere with good light and some space, I will run through the look we agreed on the trial. My main aim is to help you look and feel your very best and to bring a fun and calming atmosphere to your wedding morning.

Yes of course, I can stay with you until after your ceremony to ensure you look perfect for your night guests arriving. Many of my brides usually have a completely different look for the evening.  Please let me know at the time of booking if this is something you may be interested in and I can discuss this with you.  Please note, this will be charged for separately as it is not included as part of the bridal look.

Yes, I have worked on lots of different skin types and I have knowledge of the products I use. Most products I use are hypo allergenic, however, if you have certain sensitivities or allergies to makeup like Lanolin, please let me know. I know which of my products I can use for your skin type.  If you prefer to use your own products, please bring them with you and I can apply it for you.

I am more than happy to apply any makeup products of your own, just have them to hand on the trial day and wedding day.

My makeup kit is cleaned regularly, and all makeup brushes and other tools are cleaned and sanitised after each client.  I don’t blow on to my brushes and where possible I will use stainless steel spatulas and mixing palettes (always sanitised) to decant makeup such as solid lipsticks. For Mascara I use disposable mascara wands and I never double dip back into the tube after the first application, I always use a new one.  The same applies for any liquid makeup such as lip glosses and concealers. Always wash my hands with soap and water if there is an opportunity to do so, if not I will use a hand sanitizer.

Unfortunately, I am not available for partial makeup services. For a look to be whole, complete and to represent my work, the makeup will need to be done by me from start to finish. This will also ensure the makeup will last all day. Also, I do not touch up or do work or modification on other artist's work if there will be more than 1 makeup artist for your bridal party.

As far as you need me! Cost of travel will vary depending on location and distance. 

10 miles total travel is included per appointment. For distances over 10 miles, the travel charges are 50p per mile.

Congestion Charge – Traveling inside the congestion charge zone is payable by the client.

Dart Charge – Payable by the client.

Parking – Expenses are charged to the client.

If I must travel for more than 2 hours from my home address for your wedding, I may request you to book accommodation the night before.

Your name (or the name of the client if you are booking for someone else);

The actual services required (e.g. hairstyling, makeup or both) and for how many people; and
Any important information we should be made aware of.

I will check availability of your date.  If the date is available, I will send you over a full quote along with our Terms and Conditions.

After you’ve paid your non-refundable deposit, I’ll send you over a Booking Confirmation email with all the details. We can then discuss and arrange your consultation/trial makeup appointment.

Yes, once you have sent your enquiry and booking request, I will confirm my availability for your chosen date and time.  Provided I am available, I will send you an invoice for 25% deposit (non-refundable).  This non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your wedding day.

You will receive an email confirmation for the agreed date, and the deposit must be paid within 7 days to secure your wedding date.  Should the funds not be received within this time frame, your date will be made available to other clients/brides.

The date is not secured until a deposit has been paid.

 I understand that some brides are unsure about making a commitment with deposits without first having a trial makeup appointment.  Unfortunately, I cannot hold the wedding date until the day of the trial without having received a non-refundable deposit.

Trial makeup appointments can be booked at any time, I will require 50% deposit to secure the date and the remainder paid 72 hours before the trial date.

I will discuss with you your booking details and advise you what you need to do next during initial consultation.

By paying your deposit, you are agreeing to our Term and Conditions.

The final balance is due, cleared in full in our bank account 14 days prior to the wedding date.  If payment is not received, I reserve the right to terminate the agreement.  For each day payment is late, a penalty charge of 10% of the overall cost will be required and if this is also not cleared in full, I reserve the right to terminate the agreement.  Furthermore, if the booking is a minimum of 3 weeks prior to your wedding date, full payment is required at your consultation/trial.

I accept bank transfers and payment in cash.  An invoice will be generated with all the relevant details.  PayPal transfers are also accepted, and PayPal fees will be added to the invoice.  Cheques and credit cards are NOT accepted.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking. This will only be accepted via e-mail; verbal cancellations cannot be accepted.

Cancellation will be subject to the following charges:

- Up to 14 days before booked date is 100%
- 2-4 weeks before wedding date - 75% of the outstanding balance
- 4-6 weeks before wedding date - 50% of the outstanding balance
- Deposits are non-refundable

I will arrange for an equally qualified Makeup Artist to complete the services for the same agreed upon terms of payment.  They will receive a brief and any products required that they might not have in their kit. If I am unable to find a replacement artist, a 100% refund is provided.
